The Trappist Abbey and Antwerp

We begin this unforgettable four-day adventure in the Trappist Abbey of Westmalle, not far from the Belgian-Dutch border. Here, we will tour around the grounds of the abbey and sample some of the local home-made beers.

Bosteels Brewery & Bruges

Begin the day with a drive to Buggenhout (in East Flanders) and enjoy a tour of the Bosteels Brewery, followed by a taste of their excellent beer selection. You will check into your hotel in central Bruges around lunchtime.The rest of the day will be spent walking through the beautiful streets of this tranquile historic town, rightly recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Brussels Chocolate Tour

This day will be dedicated to the famous Belgian chocolate. You will visit eight different Chocolatiers, discover the different flavours and talk to chocolate masters, who will tell you stories of the heritage of this foodie favourite.

Orval Brewery

Leave the city and drive into the Belgian Ardennes to the amazing Trappiste monastery of Orval. Take a guided tour around the brewery, and then check into the 300-year old converted smithy (the workplace of a blacksmith), “La Vieille Forge”. In the evening you will enjoy a three course beer dinner alongside an open fire and the great Ardennes air.
