For everyone who loves coffee and wants to step up from their Senseo machine. We organise a Coffee Workshop in collaboration with Melanie Nunes, female Barista Champ 2009 from Tropix. The Coffee Workshop takes places in Antwerp on each first Wednesday of the month, in our The Chef’s Cut Barista Room.
The workshop will introduce you to the mesmerizing world of coffee making. With a professional barista explaining you the ins and outs of coffee beans, the espresso machine and different grinding techniques, you’ll be whipping up your cappuccinos in no time.
Expect to go home with some freshly learned latte art skills, a deep understanding of espresso machines and maybe a bit buzzed from the coffee.
Our facilities include professional coffee machines and all the other equipment required for this art, using only the finest coffee beans we can find.
Arendbergstraat 16, 2000 Antwerpen
10 am – 1 pm
4 pm – 7 pm
Melanie Nunes takes you on a journey exploring coffee – from its origin to your coffee cup. She’ll walk you through the process of growing and harvesting the beans and the impact the region has on its flavours. We don’t talk for too long but like to get practical straight away. We have different espresso machines available, so we can all try to grind, tamp, and brew as many coffees as we like. We then get crafty with our latte art, learning you to create little leafy hearts in your cuppa.
We offer a few different coffee workshops, each with their own theme, coffee style or brewing technique. We rotate through our workshops so there are always new topics available.
This workshop will teach you everything about preparing the perfect espresso. We learn about steaming the milk, micro foaming and creating basic latte art.

To ensure a safe and healthy workshop, we made a few changes to comply with the recommended COVID-19 precautions.
All of our equipment, coffee machines and tools will be disinfected before use.
We limited our group sizes to comply with social distancing and to ensure groups are spread out over different espresso machines.
Since June 8th 2020 there are certain relaxations of the restrictions, which makes it possible for us to organise barista workshops with the following measurements:
