Inspiring natural landscapes, centuries of fascinating history and finger licking good food – Lebanon is a new hotspot when it comes to travelling. Once under the French rule, Lebanon has masterfully merged its rich culture and unique identity with the French. The prime example of this being Lebanese food, which is a striking combination of the French and Arabic cuisines.
Lebanon has a delicious cuisine that entices with its wafting aroma, mouthwatering visuals and fresh, rich flavours. Prepare yourself for fresh fish, fruits, whole grains and lots of seafood – as the Lebanese know as no other how to combine healthy and tasty.

We’ll start our culinary tour in Beirut, where we’ll get lost in the little streets, markets and squares to soak up the everyday hustle and bustle of the capital of Lebanon.
We will then head to our first hands-on cooking class of this tour where we’ll get an introduction to the unique flavours of the Lebanese cuisine. After enjoying our first authentic meal, we’ll have a taste of the Beirut nightlife before heading back to our hotel for a good night of rest.
The second day we venture out to the beautiful area of Byblos, which is one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. Once arrived, we’ll start the exploration with our taste pupils – enjoying an extraordinary lunch in the city.
During the afternoon we’ll wander around the city, before heading back to Beirut. There, we will meet an American-Lebanese chef, who is one of the most famous and influential figures in the culinary world of Lebanon. The lecture will be followed by dinner at one of the most famous and authentic restaurants in Beirut.
On the third day of the Lebanese food trip, we will be driving to the Beeka region, where we’ll find wineries dotted along the Lebanese wine trail. We’ll get to know the locals, their secrets to wine-making and enjoy the wonderful views in this area.
Afterwards, we’ll head to the infamous city of Baalbek, where will tour the sites of the most mysterious ruins of the Roman empire. Our local guide will tell us everything about Lebanon’s fascinating history and the impact on today’s society. We’ll conclude the day with another authentic mezze.
